CoffeeCup RSS Flash
I've added a neat tool to the left-hand column of this site: RSS Flash from CoffeeCup Software. This application creates a small flash box for your site that includes an RSS feed. In this case, I included the blog from Creative Commons, since the CC license is one of my favorite causes/projects.

Backup...
Yeah, sure, we preach at y'all all the time. We caution, cajole, and threaten, but backup and disaster recovery are issues you don't deal with until something happens and you get religion.
We had a fire at the new restaurant over the weekend. It was the result of an electrical problem and was localized, but it still caused a lot of smoke and water damage. The computer system was not an issue because I backed up the important data to a $60 flash drive last Thursday.
Do you have a procedure for off-site backups? If not, it's time we talked.

BNI - NOLA Networkers Visitors' Day - 17-May
The NOLA Networkers chapter of BNI (www.nolanetworkers.com) will have a "Visitors' Day" on Wednesday, 17-May. Time is 11:30am, place TBA. We usually hold our weekly chapter meetings at Maple Cafe (Vets and Oaklawn), but this meeting may have to be moved if we have a larger response.
